We are blessed and excited to announce the start of the CookBook Edible Library project in partnership with VIY & Haringey Council, made possible through funding from the Mayor of London’s Grow Back Greener Fund.
This new green community oasis will be created by a dedicated network of #volunteers and #community groups who will plant at least 30 new trees and convert over 200m2 underutilised space into a lush sanctuary for growth.
The project aims to become an inclusive space of education and engagement with people and nature for all in the community.
It will also provide young people opportunities to learn trade skills whilst participating in a wide range of outdoor activities, including bench building, gardening and nurturing vegetables and trees, building bug hotels and bird houses, and even learning about worm-composting.
Follow along to witness an amazing green transformation at St Ann’s!

Hi Selcan,
Thank you for your comment. We will let you know when we will have this organised and you will be the first on the list 🙂

Hello you amazing people! Can you give me contact details for the person who makes benches, planters etc from old pallets for your project please?
I am a member of ENCAF ( Enfield Climate Action Forum) and I am organising an event as part of Enfield’s is Green Climate Festival in September in Bush Hill Park. I was thinking that a demonstration of making useful items from old pallets would go down well…
Best wishes Carole
Hi Carole,
